LAB3, exploring the intersection between science and arts
During the last few months, six teams of high school students in collaboration with artists, writers, and scientists have explored physics from the viewpoint of contemporary visual, literary, and performing arts. The groups are currently finishing their collaborative artwork to be presented in an exhibit at the Arts + Literature Laboratory (ALL) in Madison, 2021 Winnebago Street.
Explore
tiny particles from the most extreme places in outer space, the secrets of the fabric of the universe, dark matter, radio messages from the subatomic world, graphene smart materials in space exploration.
Create
a painting, a poem, a song, a sculpture, a visual piece, a comic, a photograph, a video game, a dance, something else, or all of these.
